Exterior Lounge Chair
Tulip is a true classic. With its organic and soft lines, it invites to relaxation on the terrace or in the garden. The chair is originally made of rattan and is a part of Sika-Design's ICONS collection, which exclusively consists of furniture designed by renowned designers.
The Tulip chair was designed by danish Tove Kindt-Larsen in the 1940s and was launched by Sika-Design in 2020. The chair was orginally produced by Robert W. in the 1940s. From the 1930 to the 1960s, Tove and her husband were Edvard among Denmark's most skilled designers, covering areas such as architecture, design of the future, silverware, and textiles. They were a strong design-duo and their work were characterized by contrasts and simplicity, as well as high sense of quality and appreciation of current trends
Tulip Exterior Lounge Chair is handmade in aluminum rattan. The fine bindings in the seat and back are made on a frame of aluminum by skilled wicker workers. A cushion can be purchased for the back and seat in any optional fabric, sewn on our Danish sewing department. We also offer to sew cushion in your own fabric, please contact us for more information about material use.
