    Exterior Footstool

    Teddy Exterior Foot Stool is an exclusive outdoor stool that fits our Teddy Exterior Lounge Chair. The Teddy Exterior armchair and footstool were designed by Viggo Boesen in 1936, who was known as one of the best designers in the heyday of Danish design.

    Teddy Exterior is handcrafted in Alu-Rattan and ArtFibre, and therefore has a unique strength and durability. Alu-Rattan is weather-resistant powder-coated aluminum and ArtFibre is artificial fibers made from polyethylene. Due to the weather-resistant materials the stool can stand outside all year round, without affecting the design or durability. The Teddy stool is also available in an indoor version made of rattan, see it here.

    The Teddy Exterior foot stool requires no maintenance and is easy to clean.

    A cushion for the Teddy Foot Stool is offered in a selection of colors. The cushion is developed in our Danish sewing studio and is created to fit perfectly in the Teddy Exterior stool. We also offer to sew cushions in your own fabric - please contact us for information on fabric use and prices.

    Viggo Boesen

    This furniture is designed by Viggo Boesen (1907-1985) who was a Danish architect that contributed to the Danish design aesthetics in the 1930s. From his workshop, Viggo designed a number of rattan and upholstery furniture, which was constructed according to his philosophy: Furniture should have an organic flow and embrace the body smoothly and tenderly. They should be a delight to the eye, but also be solid and durable.

    Exterior | Alu-Rattan & ArtFibre

    The furniture in our Exterior collection is handcrafted in Alu-Rattan and Sika-Design ArtFibre®. Alu-Rattan is powder-coated aluminum that has been developed to resemble rattan and its unique shaping ability. Powder coating has the advantage that it can withstand hard wear and high temperatures.

    ArtFibre® is a unique fiber made of dyed hard-wearing polyethylene that is temperature and UV resistant. The fiber has a strong structure that can maintain its shape for years on end.

    MAINTENANCE Our Exterior furniture requires no maintenance. The furniture is suitable for standing outside all year round and is easy to clean. For general cleaning, the furniture can be washed with water mixed with mild soap. Find more information about care and maintenance here.

    Tempotest Fabrics

    Our cushions are developed in our Danish sewing studio to add extra comfort and fit perfectly into each piece of furniture. For our outdoor cushions we use high quality foam that drains water rapidly while circulating air with optimal efficiency. These are presented with Italian Tempotest fabrics that are rotting proof and immune to formation of mold and fungus. Please notice: Cushions that are made to order cannot be returned.
