Rossini is an elegant and classic wicker chair that has been in Sika-Design's collection for more than 20 years. The chair is a part of Sika-Designs Originals collection which represents designs of wicker furniture, all of which are designed by Sika-Design. The Rossini chair is designed in collaboration with the famous Japanese designer Yamakawa. The chair is suitable for the ordinary home, conservatory and cottage as well as for hotels and indoor restaurants.
The chair's seat and backrest are handmade in Indonesian rattan by skilled wicker makers, and it can be clearly seen and felt that comfort and good craftsmanship have been safeguarded. Sika-Design uses carefully selected rattan for furniture production to ensure the highest quality. Rattan is often compared to bamboo, but unlike bamboo which is hollow, rattan is a solid material. Rattan is a remarkably strong and indestructible material, and it also helps to make the furniture sustainable. Here you get a unique piece of furniture that can last for generations.
