Mini Classic is a charming and handcrafted wicker chair in Danish design made for children. Mini Classic is similar to our Classic Chair which is an elegant and cozy dining chair designed by Sika-Design. The Mini Classic has armrests and a high backrest, which provides great comfort and support.

The Mini Classic children chair is made with the acclaimed Lloyd Loom material which is a woven tightly twisted paper braid wrapped around steel wire. Lloyd Loom is remarkably strong and in ancient times it was the preferred choice of furniture material for restaurants, cruise ships and zeppelin airships. Here you get a durable and unique piece of wicker furniture that can last for generations.

Loom

This furniture is made of rattan and Loom. Loom is a woven material made of twisted kraft paper reinforced with steel wire. This type of weave does not bend, distort or creak when used – which makes it very strong and incredible durable. The material was invented by Lloyd Loom in 1917, and for many years it was the preferred furniture material for restaurants, cruise ships and even zeppelin airships

The frame is made of rattan. Rattan is often confused with bamboo, but unlike hollow bamboo, rattan is a solid material. This makes rattan furniture very durable, and able to last for generations. Read more about rattan here.

MAINTENANCE Loom and rattan requires no maintenance but can be wiped with a lightly damped cloth if needed.
