Loom

This furniture is made of rattan and Loom. Loom is a woven material made of twisted kraft paper reinforced with steel wire. This type of weave does not bend, distort or creak when used – which makes it very strong and incredible durable. The material was invented by Lloyd Loom in 1917, and for many years it was the preferred furniture material for restaurants, cruise ships and even zeppelin airships

The frame is made of rattan. Rattan is often confused with bamboo, but unlike hollow bamboo, rattan is a solid material. This makes rattan furniture very durable, and able to last for generations. Read more about rattan here.

MAINTENANCE Loom and rattan requires no maintenance but can be wiped with a lightly damped cloth if needed.

Our cushions

Our cushions are developed in our Danish sewing studio to add extra comfort and fit perfectly into each piece of furniture. For our indoor cushions, we use high-quality foam that keeps its shape and ensures optimal comfort. These are presented in a selection of high-quality fabrics with a wear resistance of minimum 20.000 Martindale. Please notice: Cushions that are made to order cannot be returned.
